Chefs, Catering and Wholesale
Seafood Choices is working with chefs, restaurateurs and fishmongers to help them navigate the subject of seafood sustainability. We deliver practical information tools and events that cut through the complexity of seafood issues, making it easier for caterers and wholesalers to improve seafood sustainability in their businesses and supply chains. By highlighting examples of leadership and best practice, we also seek to catalyze a wider advancement of seafood sustainability and culture of ocean conservation amongst the culinary community.
Solutions-focused Events
Seafood Choices organizes workshops, trips and seminars to help the catering and wholesale sectors to better understand marine issues and build good practice into their businesses. Run for both professionals and students, the events help attendees realize and fulfill their key role in influencing both the supply chain and consumers.
These events often include practical sessions such as tastings and kitchen demos, and encourage discussions between different stakeholders in the seafood industry (e.g. students, chefs, fishmongers, wholesalers, retailers and fishermen). The trips are an opportunity to directly connect with fishermen and fish farmers and be informed and inspired about sustainable production techniques.

Those workshops aim at initiating a dialogue between students and professionals and at trying to help the students realize the key role they can and will play in influencing both the supply chain and consumers.
